THE LONG RUN reveals the 7 principles that Ben Andrews learned before, during and after races making him one of the fastest milers in the United States. By applying these principles to his real estate business, Ben and his wife Heidi have created one of the most successful real estate businesses in the North America.
THE LONG RUN begins with the story of Ben Andrews and his quest to become one of America's top milers. After graduating from Portland's Parkrose High School in 1992, Ben returned for a 5th year of high school (It's a long story, but it's in the book!). Ben received a Track & Field scholarship to the University of Oregon. During his time representing the Ducks, Ben was nationally ranked and provisionally qualified for the US Olympic Trials. Ben later ran professionally and was mentored throughout his athletic career by legendary mentors and coaches Bill Dellinger and Alberto Salazar.
Many times Ben faced the reality that his dreams - both athletically and in business - were just beyond his reach. Each time someone would supernaturally intervene and prove to Ben that he was giving up and giving in too early. Join Ben on a captivating and inspiring run through life as he is confronted with reasons to quit but a mountain of evidence to stay in the race, of life.
Today, Ben and his wife Heidi run their real estate business exclusively by referral while leaning heavily on the system of another mentor, Brian Buffini. Their small team of realtors consistently generate 250+ referrals and sell 100+ homes each year.
Since 1999, The Andrews and their realtors have sold 5,000+ homes and over $2B in real estate.

'This is a wonderful story about life. And in life, the way we run our race often determines how strong we finish.'
'Ben beautifully outlines that in life, the best coach can be life itself.'
Success never comes overnight, you have to commit to taking the long-term/long-run approach to business, and life.
'I'm a proud momma!'
